The moon peaking through a Weeping Birch. On this particular morning, I was thinking that I would really like to get a photo of the moon behind a tree. As I walked to TRAX and rode it downtown, I kept looking for a good opportunity but never saw one. I had just gotten off TRAX at the Courthouse Station and started walking to my office and I still hadn't seen anything I liked. But as I passed this Weeping Birch tree on the south side of the Frank E. Moss Courthouse, close to the corner of 400 S and Main, I realized it was exactly what I had been looking for! So I setup my tripod and camera and took this photo. The light shining on the tree is from the street lights behind me. Looking at this picture, you'd probably never guess that it was in the middle of Downtown Salt Lake, would you?
