  • A copse of hornbeam trees along an old brick building with peeling paint, captured on November 14, 2011. This is my first attempt at a panorama photo; it is three different photos stitched together in Lightroom. As of the end of 2016, this building and the trees no longer exist. They were torn down to make room for a new building.

  • I was walking along the Jordan River Parkway near Bluffdale and saw this tree; they're beautiful even without all the leaves.
  • A lone tree near Monterey. This tree is all by itself between the entrance and exits to the freeway. I was with Skyler, Shaylie and Eli as we were driving home and I asked them to drop me off so I could capture the tree; and then I'd walk the rest of the way home.

  • While I was in Bryce Canyon with a group of photographers to take pictures of the Milky Way, I happened to be wandering around during the day and saw this tree stump. The contrast of the stump with the orange rocks and the blue sky really got my attention.
